Instructional Aide
Duties: To ensure the physical and emotional safety of the adults with developmental disabilities at the center. Assisted in classroom instruction and management in a variety of instructional settings including ceramics, theater, life skills and visual art. Worked on special projects as needed including website, set design, graphic design, and video editing.

Duties: Worked in small groups and one-one to help campers with disabilities and extra needs to integrate fully into the camp environment. Experienced with working child with development disabilities, mood disorders, autism spectrum at a residential summer camp in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Helped support and supervisor counselor working one-on-one and in cabin groups with campers need that needed extra support.
Lead Counselor 6/2005 – 9/2005
Duties: Supervised 5-7 Staff members and 90-120 campers at a residential summer camp in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Planned and lead actives ranging from mountain biking to candle making. Leading overnight hike of groups up 30 children. Low ropes course facilitation, CPR First Aid Certified.
Counselor 6/2002 – 9/2004
Duties: Supervised 6-8 children 24 hours a day 6 days a week a residential summer camp. Planned and lead actives, for children from a variety of different backgrounds and different ages. Worked one on one with children with special needs, facilitating their involvement in all camp actives.
